![]() If I can help further down the line pm me. If you search for HRD ver 5, it was the last free version. Initially HRD was free but then sold on and now it is a purchasing job. Before making any changes All IC-7300 MENU SETTINGS should be set to their Default values. N1MM Logger+ also has the Icom 7610 listed in rigs. ![]() Interesting but still in the development stage. With N1MM Logger+ we also get a nice Spectrum Display (waterfall) on the PC monitor. PSK-31 operation has been successful using the N1MM+ Digital Interface Sound Card (MMVARI)1 function. Overall Fldigi with Flrig is my favourite for performane, and there is Ham Radio Deluxe which has amazing Cat control. PSK-31 working with Fldigi (still being looked into). There are 2 other free packages (at least) around that will teach you a lot, with quite a few of the digital modes and cat control. Initially sorting out the "virtual" com ports was a challenge but there is a lot of help around. These are relatively simple to construct and would work with an older pc with sound card. I believe the digimaster pro 3 is probably the best you can get and comes complete with the correct leads for your tx.However there various interfaces out there, and the basic ones work to the sound card. This configuration is based on using N1MM Logger setup for Waterfall Band map. There are various version of interface from G4ZLP. This covers setting up N1MM+ to use FLDigi for RTTY, PSK31 and other. I use an interface from G4ZLP electronics, the digimaster pro 3, it has a "built in" sound card and incorporates a keyer too. Basically I have an interface that connects to the back of the rig and has just a single usb lead to the computer. step by step instructions would be best if you can provide them.I use a FT450D with digimodes and also cat control. I still need some help, if anyone can provide it. Other than the awkwardness of 'generic contest', it worked just fine. Optionally, 2Tone and/or Gritty can be set up in Receive-Only windows. The main FLDigi in its own file continues to operate just fine, and I completed the contest using FLDigi alone. In this tutorial, the steps will be to Download and Install N1MM Logger+, set up N1MM Logger+ Configuration, and set up the Digital Interface (DI) window for MMTTY. Unfortunately I was not able to follow those instructions successfully. The FLDigi running with N1MM is its own copy in a N1MM file. What I cannot figure out is how to get the FLdigi. I have the 6600, DAX and CAT running while attempting to do the setup in N1MM+. When I get to selecting the Capture and Playback ports in the N1MM/Fldig setup window, I get 'port audio device not available'. I have also downloaded the N1MM logger which seems to be running ok if I log contacts manually. This is first time for me trying to use Fldigi as an engine with N1MM. ![]() The rig talks to my PC through the sound card in the PC running Windows 7. Setting up of N1MM will involve telling it the path to Fldigi.' I am preparing for my first digital contest using FLdigi in the PSK31 mode. Just use N1MM, set-up Fldigi as your preferred digital engine, and then select Field Day in N1MM Logger and off you go. 'use Fldigi "engine" within N1MM as opposed to plain Fldigi. ![]() Probably something simple that I am missing, but right now i am stumped. Be sure you have defined Digital port in the N1MM Hardware tab. I have used this setup on my own IC7300 and many of my local club members radios. This configuration is based on using MMTTY in FSK mode. And let’s not forget CW using FLDigi as a code reader. Can anyone tell me how to get my FLdigi logger to send it files to the N1MM logger? N1MM Logger+ can’t read the RX frequency (shows as 0) frequency shown fine in microHam router without the Logger. Having followed OH3BHLs instructions for setting up IC7300 with N1MM+ and MMTTY for FSK RTTY, the rig goes into transmit but only the carrier can be heard, no 'diddle'.
